As Thanksgiving approaches and COVID-19 continuing to negatively impact so many people in our community, we at The Bay Six Project wanted to find a way to serve the #commUNiTY in a different, more personal way this Thanksgiving. We decided that having a hot Thanksgiving meal that could be taken home, or ate on location, would be a great way to help make a positive impact, as well as meet the need of some of our neighbors and friends who are unable to cook a meal this year.
With Schools being reopened and parents getting back to work, we have switched back to our after school hours for our Brown Bag Diner. If you need a daily meal, you can sign up to reserve after school Brown Bags so that we know that you are coming by. Our new hours for these Brown Bags are currently Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 4pm-6pm.
As a way to give young artists a voice and a way to communicate, we host monthly Community Art Contests. We have multiple categories, and two age groups. Click the picture above to find out more!
